Talent...

In the field that I work in, I am always surrounded by such great talent. I saw this video that a co-worker created of his niece using iMovie and had to share it! He is looking into making these for others, so if you are interested let me know and I will give him a shout for you.

I had the opportunity to have a photo shoot with Eric Simpkins the head bartender at DRINKSHOP. DRINKSHOP is one of the bars inside The W Downtown Atlanta. Eric has created a drink that DRINKSHOP will be carrying called "First of Spring Fizz!". Be sure to stop by and check it out and make sure to tell Eric hello!

Plaza Theater turns 70!

As a part of the Plaza Theatre's 70th Anniversary Celebration they decided to run some of the movies that the Plaza opened with such as "The Wizard of Oz" and "Gone With The Wind". I decided to go to The Wizard of Oz showing because not only were they planning to have some of the characters from the movie but they also had one of the original munchkins, Karl Slover. Karl Slover now 91, signed autographs and spoke to the crowd about some of the memories he had while on the set of the Wizard of Oz. Also, Alcove Contemporary Gallery owner, Chris Warner was dressed as one of my favorite characters the flying monkey! If you haven't been to the Alcove Contemporary Gallery, be sure to check them out, amazing artwork!

One Brave Model...

Emily is one of the first people I shot before I had even thought about CatMax Photography. I have dragged her all over Atlanta and she has always been willing to work with whatever crazy idea I may come up with. One shoot that will always stand out to me is the shoot we did in Krog Street Tunnel in her ballet outfit in freezing temperatures, she was so cold, but I had a deadline and she was amazing to pose for me in that tutu! We have had several photo shoot over the last five years and I wanted to put together a mix of my personal favorites and let her know she has been such a brave model to put up with me. Thanks Emily, cheers to many more!
