Foster The People

If you haven't heard of Foster the People....you will soon. With a number of SOLD OUT shows on their tour list, this band has proven that they will be sticking around for a while. While in Atlanta they performed a few songs acoustically at the local music store Criminal Records where fans were able to meet the band and have their albums/CDs signed by the band. I had the privilege to work with Eileen Tilson of Atlanta Music Guide as she asked them the "15 Questions". You can listen to the interview and it's entirety HERE. The guys were a lot of fun and very laid back. After the interview they headed off to the Masquerade where they were playing downstairs to a sold out crowd. The crowd was so into the show dancing and singing along to each and every song. Although "Pumped up Kicks" is the only song currently being played on the radio right now, this whole album is awesome. It one of those albums that is perfect for a summertime ride in the car with the top down. If you missed this show they will be back in September, so grab your tickets now while you still can.

Check out their first single from the band's "Torches" album HERE.

Central Atlanta Progress has done an amazing job of making our community a better place for our visitors. One of the ways they have done this is by creating the "The Ambassador Force of Downtown Atlanta". "The Ambassador Force of Downtown Atlanta" helps visitors find what they are looking for in Atlanta. They also help to keep Grant Park clean and can serve as an escort to your car should you need them.
